Training

The club welcomes new members to the club and these are ultimately the future of the hobby.  Junior members as well as more senior members can be paired up with a dedicated instructor but please be aware that places may be limited and this depends very much on how many other members are being trained at any one given time.

All members are required to have passed the BMFA “A” Certificate before they will be allowed to fly solo

If you would like to tie up with a club instructor please send a message via the Make Contact tab above and we will make the necessary arrangements for you to liaise with one of our club instructors.

The club currently has a BMFA examiner within the membership and they can test you for your BMFA “A” Certificate when you are ready to take this test.

Why not contact us to arrange a ” Fly  & Try ” session

If you have ever wondered what it is we all enjoy or have always wanted to have a go.
We will arrange for one of our instructors to give you a taste of radio controlled flying
using a “buddy box “, where the instructor has control but can give you a chance to fly with their guidance and support. The ideal way to see if you will enjoy our sport without committing to membership.

email our Secretary Dave Durnford to arrange:
